epple 4851-neu is a versatile, one-component contact adhesive based on chloroprene, specially developed for applications in the camping industry. The adhesive is characterized by an elastic adhesive film and excellent bonding strength. Another advantage is that it contains no toluene, making it more environmentally friendly and safer to use.

Application:

epple 4851-neu is particularly suitable for bonding plastics to each other or to metals, as well as for bonding rubber parts. This adhesive is ideal for attaching edge banding in wood grooves. During application, both parts to be joined are coated with the adhesive (consumption approx. 150–300 g/m²). After a short drying time, during which the surface becomes dust-dry, the parts can be pressed together. The adhesive reaches its final strength after three days.
