MT CDS POWER LINE solar modules are significantly less sensitive to partial shading than conventional solar modules thanks to a novel interconnection technology. This results in higher yields, especially in mobile applications, where – depending on the location – it is unavoidable that branches, a roof box, a satellite dish, or an open skylight partially shade the solar modules. CDS modules are equipped with 44 monocrystalline high-performance cells and should always be used in combination with an MPP charge controller for optimal performance. Due to the special and complex assembly process of these 44-cell diode solar modules, they are also manufactured at our assembly center in Germany. A stable, surrounding aluminum frame protects the cells, which are completely embedded in special safety glass.
