A solar charger is powered by solar modules and then stores this energy in batteries. The SmartSolar maintains the battery's functionality, thus extending its lifespan. The SmartSolar charge controller can even recharge a deeply discharged battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
