Short-fiber coconut fiber is a byproduct of long-fiber coconut fiber production. No habitats are destroyed through deforestation or the extraction of wetlands (as with peat). Coconut fiber is fully biodegradable, made from renewable resources, and contributes to sustainability. Very high water absorption capacity, approximately 8-9 times the fiber weight. Application: Suitable for use as bedding in separating and composting toilets of all brands. Place the ToMTuR coconut fiber brick upright in the bag without the foil packaging. Then add approximately 1 liter of water and allow it to expand completely. The warmer the water, the faster the coconut fiber brick expands and the greater the volume. One ToMTuR coconut fiber brick yields approximately 6-8 liters of loose toilet substrate when 1 liter of water is added. Please be sure to observe the recommended fill level specified by the respective toilet manufacturer. Storage instructions: The coconut fiber bricks are generally well packaged and, due to their angular and compact shape, can be stored easily and for extended periods. However, for safety reasons, we still recommend storage locations that are difficult for insects and pests to access.
