Automatically interrupts the gas supply in case of a hose failure

Prevents gas leakage if the hose is damaged or becomes detached and shuts off the gas flow as soon as the nominal flow rate is exceeded by 10%. Manual hose rupture safety device SBS: no delay or leakage gas quantity, but manual opening is required.

Note (1/2): Hoses longer than 400 mm must be secured with a hose rupture safety device SBS in accordance with the requirements of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) Regulation 79 (formerly BGV D 34).

Note (2/2): Hose lines longer than 1500 mm must be secured with a hose rupture protection device (SBS) in accordance with DVGW worksheet G 612.
