It is the tallest roof tent ever: When open, it reaches an interior height of approximately 150 cm. After opening the rear latch, the upper roof shell is raised by the two gas springs and the tent fabric is stretched taut. Closing the roof tent is just as quick and easy: simply pull the drawstring, fold the fabric, and you can safely continue your journey. The shells have a clean, flowing, aerodynamic, and aesthetically perfect line – even on small vehicles. The tent fabric is a high-quality, waterproof material MADE IN GERMANY that doesn't trap water vapor inside the tent but releases it naturally and is resistant to extreme temperatures (-40°C/+70°C). The COLUMBUS roof tent features a suspended ceiling whose air cushions provide excellent thermal and acoustic insulation in the rain, creating a healthier and quieter environment. The roof shells do not deform in heat, are UV-resistant, and colorfast. The fiberglass roof does not attract lightning during thunderstorms. Standard features include 1 high-quality mattress, 2 interior pockets (1 pocket per side), a lamp with 3 bright LEDs (batteries included), 2 entrances on both sides with internal roll-up mosquito nets, a large variable entrance at the rear (adjustable in 6 positions), a height-adjustable, non-slip aluminum ladder, and a practical storage net in the upper section. All openings are equipped with fine-mesh, blackout mosquito nets, meaning you can see out from the inside, but you cannot see in from the outside.

The Small and Medium models are prepared for the additional mounting of a roof rack (e.g., for transporting surfboards, kayaks, etc.)

The X-Long version is 20 cm longer than the Small size and offers more space and comfort, especially for taller people. It is suitable for medium and large vehicles (4x4s, minivans, vans, SUVs, and station wagons).
