DEKASEAL 8936 is a high-quality, permanently tacky, non-curing, permanently plastic sealant based on polyisobutylene (PIB). Excess material can simply be dabbed off. DEKASEAL 8936 is not paintable. Applications: Sealing overlaps and joints in, for example, bus, caravan, motorhome, train, and truck construction. Sealing screw connections. Sealing sunroof systems. Application under trim strips for the installation of windows and skylights in caravans and motorhomes, trailers, and container construction. Suitable for use between metal sheets, glass, GRP, wood, and other materials. Sealing rubber-glass connections in buses, cars, trains, and trucks. Dab-on sealant for applications without a visible joint edge (flaps, hatches, doors, side windows, etc.). Sealing of: – almost all screwed connections – edges, Decorative and piping strips – for headlights, taillights, reversing cameras – for use under mounting frames when installing windows in caravans and motorhomes – suitable for use between metal sheets, glass, GRP, wood and other materials.
