The COLORADO city water regulator is an external water connection for directly supplying your vehicle's water system. Tanks or canisters are bypassed by a check valve located before the tank or canister. The COLORADO city water regulator is housed in a UV-resistant ABS casing, which is closed with a lid when not in use. The hose connection on the inlet side is made using a standard hose coupling. The COLORADO PLUS city water regulator offers a crucial safety advantage: a removable solenoid valve isolates the caravan or motorhome's water system from the mains water supply whenever no water is being drawn. A permanent connection to the public water network poses a significant risk of water damage, as large quantities of water can escape unchecked from the vehicle, for example, through burst pipes. The COLORADO PLUS city water regulator's solenoid valve only opens the flow when a tap is turned on and is also detachably connected to the base unit, allowing it to be easily stored in a frost-free location during periods of high temperatures or when not in use. The city water regulator has an outlet pressure of 1.4 bar and a closing pressure of 2 bar.
