Configurable up to 500 Ah. Reliable detection of even short-term, high current draws – e.g., during inverter operation. Designed for starter, gel, and AGM batteries. This compact battery sensor helps monitor the power supply and battery capacity in motorhomes or caravans. It precisely determines the battery parameters of voltage, current, and temperature. Based on these measurements, information about the state of charge (SOC), battery aging (SOH), and expected starting capability (SOF) is algorithmically calculated. The IBS can be directly integrated into the vehicle's electrical system, e.g., the CI-Bus, via the standardized LIN protocol. The IBS Generation II is attached directly to the negative terminal of the battery using the terminal clamp. In addition to the clamp, the sensor's mechanical components consist of the shunt and ground bolt. The existing ground cable can be conveniently attached to the ground bolt using a cable lug.
