The solid design and construction of this elegant latch offers aesthetic and functional advantages in applications sensitive to vibration. An additional sliding mechanism provides spring tension to dampen the effects of vibration. This type of mechanism is designed for use on doors. Internal mounting (on the back) leaves the front surfaces of the latch and panel free of mounting elements. Access to the back of the latch allows for operation of the locking mechanism from inside the cabinet. Suitable for panel thicknesses from 3 mm (.118") to 22.5 mm (.875"). For holding ranges from 23 mm (.875") to 33 mm (1.313"). The internally mounted strike plate allows for adjustment of the holding range via screw operation.
