Application:

epple 4851-neu is particularly suitable for bonding plastics to each other or to metals, as well as for bonding rubber parts. This adhesive is ideal for attaching edge banding in wood grooves. During application, both parts to be joined are coated with the adhesive (consumption approx. 150–300 g/m²). After a short drying time, during which the surface becomes dust-dry, the parts can be pressed together. The adhesive reaches its final strength after three days. Special properties: Elastic adhesive film: Provides flexibility and strength of the bond. Broad adhesion spectrum: Suitable for various material combinations. Environmentally friendly: Contains no toluene, making handling safer. Application: The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dust-free, and grease-free. The adhesive is applied evenly to both cleaned parts using a brush, notched trowel, or squeegee and should be stirred before use if necessary. Tools can then be cleaned with Thinner 11.
