The flexible Carbest solar modules deliver more power than conventional PV modules of the same size. Thanks to the high-quality ETFE surface with honeycomb structure, there is a significant increase in performance in twilight and cloudy conditions. The special back-contact technology of the solar cells allows bending radii of up to 20°.

Especially at high temperatures, the performance is significantly higher than that of comparable modules. This means maximum efficiency without any loss of power. The pre-assembled solar cable reduces installation time and, at 6/8 m in length, is also sufficient for large vehicles. The above-average flexibility also makes the Carbest modules ideal for marine applications. We recommend an MPPT charge controller (e.g., 851005 or 851006). Note regarding item 85333 (160 watts): Shorter panel dimensions due to the rear connection box. Cover layer material: ETFE: Very hard and thin (approx. 0.025 mm) material with high light transmission of approx. 95%. Heat resistant up to approx. 150°C. Very high weather resistance, also suitable for saltwater. Backing plate material: TPT: Material with high flexural strength. More flexible than fiberglass. Fiberglass: Very strong, hard material for the best possible protection of the solar cells.

Installation Instructions:

All flexible modules must be fully bonded (without air bubbles). Afterwards, all module edges must be completely sealed up to the top cover layer.
