MPP solar charge controller for high-quality motorhomes, caravans and boats. Votronic solar charge controllers of the "MPP" (Maximum Power Point) series with an "IU1oU2" charging characteristic are connected as an interface between the solar panel(s) and the battery(ies). With MPP technology, the controller continuously and automatically determines the maximum power output (MPP) of the solar modules several times per second. It then transforms the excess voltage from the solar module into a higher charging current for the battery (achieved through high-frequency switching regulator technology with high efficiency). This increased charging current ensures shorter charging times and the best possible utilization of the solar system's power. The MPP solar charge controllers operate fully automatically, are maintenance-free, and offer the following features: An increase in MPP charging current of 10% to 30% compared to conventional controllers due to the use of state-of-the-art controller technology (microprocessor) (efficiency > 95%). This performance increase is particularly noticeable during the colder months and... For example, in high fog conditions, low and diffuse lighting (winter storage). For charging lead-gel, lead-AGM, lead-acid, or LiFePO4 complete batteries (with integrated BMS, balancing, safety circuitry, and approval!) of the specified nominal voltages and supplying power to consumers connected to these batteries in permanently installed systems with the specified battery capacities and charging programs. The charging voltage is free of spikes and regulated to prevent overcharging.
