Sikaflex-522 is a low-emission, one-component STP adhesive and sealant. The product has good weather resistance and mold resistance. Sikaflex-522 meets the highest EHS requirements. With minimal pretreatment, Sikaflex-522 exhibits good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates. Sikaflex-522 demonstrates good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and is suitable for elastic sealing and bonding applications indoors and outdoors. This product is suitable for applications in HVAC systems, as well as in food processing plants. Suitable substrates include wood, glass, metals, metal primers and paints (two-component systems), ceramics, and plastics. Refer to the manufacturer's recommendations before using Sikaflex-522 on materials susceptible to stress cracking. Preliminary tests must be carried out with the original materials to avoid stress cracking. This product is intended for experienced users only. To ensure adhesion and material compatibility, preliminary tests must be carried out with the original materials under the relevant conditions.
