SikaTack DRIVE (Purform) is based on Purform Technology. Purform technology enables high-performance polyurethane products with less than 0.1% monomeric diisocyanate for improved health and safety at work. SikaTack DRIVE (Purform) is a cold-curing windshield adhesive for automotive replacement glazing with a safe drive-away time of 60 minutes. The system is suitable for year-round mobile and stationary use and has been tested according to FMVSS 212. Application: SikaTack DRIVE (Purform) is intended for experienced users only. This product and its accompanying installation instructions have been specifically designed for the replacement of automotive windshields. If this product is used for applications other than replacement glazing, preliminary tests with original materials must be carried out under the respective conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility. Surface preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, dust, and contaminants. The bonding surfaces must be pretreated according to the Sika installation instructions for the "Clear Activator Process" (without black primer) or the "All-Black Process" (with black primer). Further information on the application and use of pretreatment agents can be found in the respective product data sheet. Windscreens without ceramic printing require additional UV protection. Application: Apply SikaTack DRIVE (Purform) using a suitable high-performance, battery-operated applicator gun. Note the viscosity increase at low temperatures. For easy application, apply the adhesive at room temperature. For a uniform adhesive layer thickness, it is recommended to apply the adhesive in a triangular bead. The open time is significantly shorter in hot and humid climates. The pane must always be installed within the open time. Never install a pane after a skin has formed on the adhesive. Removal: Uncured SikaTack DRIVE (Purform) can be removed from tools and equipment with Sika Remover-208 or other suitable solvents. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. Hands/skin must be washed immediately with suitable cleaning wipes (e.g., Sika Handclean) or industrial hand cleaners and water. Do not use solvents on skin!
