An ideal combination: the high-performance router (4G) and the powerful 5G LTE antenna. This combination is ideal for the discerning camper who wants to use their motorhome or caravan as a home office. LTE signals are received via the external antenna, while WiFi signals are received via the rod antennas mounted on the router. The router is automotive tested and therefore ideally suited for installation in a vehicle. The router can be configured quickly and easily using the free ROAM X app for Android and iOS operating systems. Standard installation involves routing a cable through the roof directly under the antenna. The antenna is then attached to the roof from the inside using a plastic hollow screw, through which the cables also pass. The self-adhesive foam pad seals the antenna. A 25 mm hole is required for the plastic hollow screw. The mounting is suitable for roof thicknesses of 10–50 mm. Which SIM card provider does Maxview recommend? Use only SIM cards from reputable providers such as Vodafone, Telekom, etc. SIM cards from discount providers can also be used, but activation is often difficult. Please note that German prepaid SIM cards lose their data allowance after 30 days. They then need to be topped up again. When abroad, use the most common SIM card in the country you are visiting. This saves a significant amount of money, and data transfer is also faster and more stable. Switching is as easy as inserting the SIM card into your smartphone.
