Based Building on the success of the proven Oyster Connect, ten Haaft now presents another antenna system: the Oyster Easynet. Adopting the unique and exceptionally powerful concept of three separate Wi-Fi modules and one LTE module from the Oyster Connect, it continues to guarantee the best possible wireless connectivity, both inside and outside the vehicle! The mobile hotspot ensures a stable signal – even while driving. You can surf the internet with ease in your motorhome, campervan, or caravan – and also enjoy all the advantages of a "mobile home network." Once set up, all your devices automatically reconnect to the Oyster Easynet's Wi-Fi network as soon as they are within range – just like at home! This works equally well when wild camping (or driving) via the LTE connection, as well as when the Oyster EasyNet is connected to the local Wi-Fi of a campsite or RV park. The new Oyster EasyNet system consists of a control unit (router) installed in the vehicle and an external antenna mounted on the vehicle roof. The connection between the control unit and the external antenna is made using four coaxial antenna cables. Thanks to the use of high-quality antenna cables and a practical cable length of 1.5 meters, the technically unavoidable signal losses are kept to a minimum. Unlike the Oyster Connect, all the electronics are concentrated in a single, compact housing inside the vehicle. This also allows the SIM card readers to be conveniently located on the front of the Oyster EasyNet device. A new, active thermal management system ensures uninterrupted operation, even in particularly warm environments. The Oyster EasyNet antenna features an aerodynamic design: With a height of only 5.5 centimeters and a diameter of approximately 11 centimeters, it fits on any recreational vehicle and impresses with its lightweight design of just 0.5 kilograms.
