A new and innovative design relocates the air conditioning unit for motorhomes from the roof to the engine compartment, with the diffuser located under the dashboard. This frees up space on the roof, lowers the center of gravity, and, most importantly, allows for the installation of a separate air conditioning unit for the interior, especially in vehicles with pop-up roofs. Teleco Ultra Comfort air conditioners are the world's first with a diffuser installed under the vehicle's dashboard. They were specifically designed for Stellantis vehicles (Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Renault Boxer, Opel Movano). The unique feature is that the compressor is installed in the vehicle's engine compartment, eliminating the need to modify any chassis components. Installation utilizes existing space in the engine compartment, saving valuable storage space. The air conditioners consist of two units: 1. The indoor unit is installed in the dashboard inside the vehicle. 2. The outdoor unit comprises two parts connected by a hose, which are installed behind the vehicle's bumper. The refrigerant gas is pre-filled and distributed throughout all components, including the waterproof connecting hoses. Thanks to heat pump technology, the unit can be used as both an air conditioner and a heater.
