DEKASEAL 1512; Paintable, non-sagging butyl sealant with skin formation. Typical applications are plastic seals with a visible joint edge or when the seam remains as additional protection (skylight). Excess material can be removed with cleaner (not blotting). Due to its stability, DEKASEAL 1512 is ideally suited for sealing cable penetrations and for installing roof hatches (e.g., Heki). Its gap-bridging properties make it particularly suitable for panel vans. Applications: Sealing overlaps; Sealing roof hatches, roof vents, trim strips, and doors; Sealing ventilation systems in buses, caravans, and campervans; Sealing between plywood floors and metal frames; Sealing between window frames (metal, wood) and masonry; Ideal for panel vans.
