Description

Prevents gas leakage in case of damage to or detached from the hose and shuts off the gas flow as soon as the nominal flow rate is exceeded by 10%. Automatic hose rupture protection SBS:

Opens automatically, resulting in a low amount of leakage gas and delayed opening for long hoses. Hoses longer than 400 mm must be secured with an SBS hose rupture protection device in accordance with the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) Regulation 79 (formerly BGV D 34).

Hose assemblies longer than 1500 mm must be secured with an SBS hose rupture protection device in accordance with DVGW Worksheet G 612.
