The classic among sealants: The dab-on sealant Dekaseal 8936 impresses with its high sealing properties, UV resistance, and elasticity, as it does not harden and remains slightly permanently tacky; therefore, it cannot be painted over. Ideal for use in applications without visible joint edges (flaps, hatches, side windows, awning rails, external sockets, etc.). Besides its high sealing capacity, its strengths include easy disassembly, meaning the sealant is well-suited for connections that will need to be undone at a later date. Application: Dekaseal 8936 can be applied by hand or with a compressed air gun. When using compressed air, 2–3 bar is required. Brush and smooth into joints, cracks, etc. Excess material can be dabbed off after a short drying time. The material can be removed with turpentine substitute. The sealant remains slightly tacky after drying, but is odorless and does not damage paint. Applications: Sealing overlaps and joints in, for example, bus, caravan, motorhome, train, and truck construction. Sealing screw connections. Sealing sunroof systems. Application under trim strips for the installation of windows and skylights in caravans and motorhomes, trailers, and container construction. Suitable for use between metal sheets, glass, GRP, wood, and other materials. Sealing rubber-glass connections in buses, cars, trains, and trucks.

- Very good UV and aging resistance, proven quality
- Sealant must be applied between mechanical connections
- With a broad adhesion spectrum
- Long shelf life of up to two years
